Life’s Reflections
Vivian Lee Talbert-King
was born on May 19, 1953 to the parentage of Johnnie Talbert and Avra Lee Wade in Terrell, Texas. She attended School in the Forney Independent School District where she received her High School Diploma. After graduating High School, she met the love of her life John Hollis King then later moved to Dallas, Texas.
Vivian worked along side her husband in the food business where they owned several Dairy Queens and in the Custom Homes building business. Vivian had a love and passion for children which allowed her to operate a Day Care business where she took care of many children. She loved and treated them all as if they were her own, getting the famous name of “Nanny”. From there she also worked for Our Home Care as a Caregiver for 7 years and later worked with her husband in the Funeral Home business.
Vivian accepted Christ at an early age and was faithful in serving. She served as Nurses Guild, Deaconess, Youth Sponsor President, Choir, and loved the Lord. At the time of her passing she was a member of the Kingdom Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Lamar Walton.
Vivian is preceded in death by her grandparents, Georgia and Willie Wade, and Alice and Frank Talbert.
