Wilma Carter was born June, 2 1940 to mother, Morris Lee Hawkins and, father, Wilbert Wilson. She graduated at the top of her class from Madison High School in 1956. She retired from the VA Hospital, Dallas, Tx.

She was a strong devoted mother. Honest outspoken woman that did what ever she could to help a family member and loved to work in her garden. She will truly be missed.

She was preceded in death by mother Morris Lee Hawkins, father Wilbert Wilson, daughter Valencia Wilson, brother Clarence Hawkins, grandmother Sadie Mae Lyons, and grandfather Morris Lyons Sr., 1 aunt, Emma McDonald, 4 uncles, Billy, John, Tim and Willie Lyons.

Wilma is survived by son Clyde Carter lll, 2 sisters, Olivia Kibble, and Shirlene Johnson, 1 uncle, Joe Lyons,14 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
