Willie Edward Wade was born July 31, 1934 to the late Willie J and Georgia Mae Wade. He was the oldest of 10 children. He attended school in Reklaw, TX where he accepted Christ at an early age. He attended New Independent Baptist Church until his health failed him. He was married to Jenise Marie Henderson on August 3, 1952 to the union 5 children was born.

He is preceded in death by his parents Willie J and Georgia Mae Wade, wife Janice Wade, (2) daughters: Georgia Ann Minter and Beverly Ann Mask, (1) son Edward Wade and (1) sister Opal Lean Wade.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories (2) children: Ruby Wimley (John) and Christopher Wade; (8) siblings: Rev Roosevelt Wade, Aura Lee Tucker, Mae Upshaw (Eisenhower), Vanessa Duncan, Lee Wade (Julia), Roy Wade (Joann), Mildred Daye and Linda Gunter (Geoffrey); (12) grandchildren: Ester Aaron (Goreg), Alvis Minter (Sobria), Bridget Mask, Willie Wade (Brashaun), Sherrie Mask, Kelvin Minter, Paul Wade, Christopher Wade Jr., Christina (Tyray) Domderic Wade,  Tiffany Gilkey (Taury), Sheila Hardmon and Keila Hardmon; (20) great grandchildren and (17) great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
