Willie J. Carraway was born on August 24, 1949 to James Carraway and Evelyn Mills. He receives his education and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School & received his Associate Degree from Alvin Community College. Willie J. eventually opened his own detailed shop in Garland, Texas.

Willie J. was a jack of many trades and according to him a master at all, lol. He loved people and helping others, he even cut a record once in his life. He was a loving man overall, loved to help others he would give you his last. However, he was very big on RESPECT, there was no other way.

He was preceded in death by his father James Carraway and   mother Evelyn Mills and great grandson Mazzi Miles.

Willie J. leaves to cherish his memories (5) children: Sharon Harris, Anthony Harris, Tyrone Lincoln, Emanuel (Bitengo) Carraway and Ella Marie (Ronald) Miles; (18) grandchildren: Michulin Brown, Temon, Taron, Katray, Jordan, Lil Anthony, Corbin, twin granddaughters, Ladarius & Larry Floyd, Mskarolyn, Ronald Jr., Marq & Marquis Miles, Ronald Hawthorne, Bobbie Jr. and Omari; (19) great grandchildren with Seven Miles being the last born; (4) sisters: Ann Marie Mills, Terri Williams, Teresa Mills and Tracy Mills; (2) nephews: Nathan and Willie; (2) nieces; Marilyn and Renae; cousins: Sarah Alexander, Louis Alexander, Patricia Alexander, Lilly Alexander, Mary Buchanan and Ernestine & Jimmy Mitchell; (1)    uncle Joe (Barbara) Carraway; (2) aunts: Annell Mackey and Pearlie Ratliff; special friends: Kevin Williams, Ms. Stevonne, Ms. Sharon, Ella Mae and the Lone Star Gas Loft Community; special families: Jeffrie family, Hall family, Buchanan family and Stanley family and a host of other relatives and friends.
