William Henry Austin Sr. was born on February 18, 1942 to the parentage of William Cleo Austin and Georgia Lee Johnson. He went to Booker T Washington High School.

He loved fishing, cooking, working and playing dominoes, but he loved dressing up and looking good the most. He was a great father and wonderful husband to his wife. He was a jokester and to know him was to love him.

He worked on the railroad for 55 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Alberta Annette Austin.

He leaves to Cherish his memories with his wife: Eloise M. Austin; Children: Wilma Jean Austin, Donna Sue Schubert, Patricia Saint Felix, Cleo William Austin, James Lamar Austin, William Henry Austin Jr., and Timothy Dewayne Austin and a host of other relatives and friends.
