Wanda Paulette Laws-Dodd was born on September 29,1956 to the parents of William and Christine Laws in Fort Hood, Texas. She graduated from  Adamson High School. She later worked as a security guard.

She had the sweetest spirit and her love was very contagious. She loved her children and grandchildren, often refer to them as her "flowers". She enjoyed reading a good book. She loved taking long car rides, dancing and just all around having a good time. She was a very understanding and non-judgmental person. To have known her was to love her.

Wanda leaves behind to cherish her memories (5) children: Tangra Davis Evans, Miranda Laws, Paul Dodd Jr., Christopher Dodd and William Dodd; life long partner Max Haney; (17) grandchildren; (17) great grandchildren along with a host of other family and dear friends.
