Vonetta Carol McGee was born on June 7, 1973, to the parentage of the late Elder Stanley McGee, Sr. and Missionary Carrie McGee. She was the      youngest of eleven (11) children.

Vonetta is the devoted loving mother to one (1) son, Tre'Veon L. McGee.

Vonetta, affectionally known as "Nette" (Sissy #7), graduated from the Wilmer-Hutchins High School in 1991 and continued her education at the Paul Quinn College in Dallas, Texas. She has been employed with Dallas          Independent School District (DISD) since 1996.

She has served as a faithful member of the of the Evangelist Temple Church of God In Christ her entire life, under the leadership of the late  Elder Stanley McGee, Sr. and Missionary Carrie McGee; which continued until her transition under the leadership of Elder Stanley McGee, Jr. and Sis. Mary McGee. Vonetta served as Children's Sunday School Teacher, a member of the  Sanctuary Choir, Communications Clerk, and multiple     supportive roles within the ministry. She was a devoted, faithful, loving saintly woman who had an undeniable love and unwavering faithfulness to God, family, friends, the people of God, and humankind. Oftentimes, she could be heard quoting Proverbs 10:22 – " The blessing of the LORD , it maketh rich , And he addeth no sorrow with it." Vonetta exemplified and demonstrated "true" worship and PRAISE in living color. The impact and influence she had on those who were blessed to cross her path, during her life's journey, is a  priceless treasure that will remain a lifetime.

She is preceded in death by Elder Stanley McGee, Sr. and Missionary    Carrie McGee, her parents; Mr. Stacey Starr and Mrs. Sisceil Wilson, her maternal grandparents; and Tiasha Nicolle Bailey; her niece.

She leaves to cherish, treasure, and honor her memory one (1) son: Tre'Veon McGee, six (6) sisters: Sharon McGee-Hill, Cynthia            McGee-Thompson, Sherita Waites, Janice McGee, Lisa Bailey, and Linda King, all of Dallas, Texas; four (4) brothers: Elder Stanley McGee, Jr. (Mary), Stacey McGee (Tonya), Steven McGee, all of Dallas, Texas, and Kelbert McGee (Louella) of Forney, Texas; twenty-nine (29) nieces/nephews; twenty-six (27) great-nieces/nephews; one aunt, Dollie McGee-Davis of Tyler, Texas; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and close friends.  Honorary family members: Rev.
