Verbie Lee Lary was born January 4, 1930 to the parents of John & Mary Lee Garrett in Marshall, Texas. She accepted Christianity at an early age at Bear Springs Church of Christ. She married Lewis C. Lary and they raised six children: Lewis, Sylvester, Lavon, Linda, Rickey, and NIckey Lary whom each blessed her with tons of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She loved family time, cooking, traveling and game shows.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lewis Lary Jr., Lavon and Rickey Lary.

Verbie leaves to cherish her loving memories (3) children: Sylvester Lary, Linda Lary, and Nickey Lary; (4) siblings: Willie Garrett, Margie Washington, Ruthene McCuin and Johnnie Snackelford along with a host of beautiful grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews,      cousins, other relatives and friends.
