Torrence Lamont Lockett was born on August 10, 1972 in Dallas, TX to the late Jerry W. Bell and Darlene Lockett. He attended Franklin D. Roosevelt High School. He accepted Christ at an early age.

He was affectionately known as "Lamont". Lamont loved his family. He loved smiling and have others smiling as well. He thought he was one of the best dressed there was. He was fun to be around. He also loved music.

Lamont leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife Judith Izuogu; one son Kasin Lamont Winslow and step-daughter Amara Izuogu; one sister Tammie (Adrian) Dumas; one brother Terry (Vanessa) Lockett along with a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
