A biblical man will, therefore, stand strong on the truth of God's Word, loving people to share it with them (Romans 10:14-15) and that           describes "Deacon Thomas L. Hanney."

Thomas  Lester Hanney, Jr. was born April 26, 1949, to the parentage of Ora L. Hanney and Thomas Lester Hanney, Sr. He attended Lincoln High School in Dallas, Texas. He retired from the Samaritan House in Fort Worth, TX. He was a member of the perfecting Faith Community Church in Fort Worth , TX, where he served as  an Elder , Head Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Financial Office Administrator and Ground Maintenance.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents: Ora Hanney and Thomas L. Hanney Sr., brother Albert Perkins Smith  and sister Mae Lou Jean Cooks.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories (5) daughters: Sonia Sally,    Tomitha Hardge, Kia Jefferson, Kyeshia Osagie and Nakia Jefferson;(2) sisters: Ardell Loretta McNeal and Vanessa Lee Rhynes (Harvey); brother Benny Earl Hanney; (8) grandchildren; (1) great granddaughter along with a host of other family and close friends.
