Therman Lee Hanks was born on November 21, 1960 to the parents of Therman Anderson and Mattie Hanks. He attended South Oak Cliff High School.

He was a member of Burning Bush Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Brown. He was well known to   others as TC Pots and Pans.

Therman is preceded in death by his wife Frances Hanks, his parents: Mattie Hanks and Therman Anderson, one sister Carolyn and one brother Robert.

He leaves behind to cherish his precious memories son Kendrick Taylor (Crystal) ; (1) grandson Kendrick Taylor Jr.; (5) great grandchildren: Kendrick, Kayvie, Kera, Khalil and Kehlani; (4) siblings: Charles Hanks (Silva), Gloria Anderson, Bruce Hanks (Andrinette) and Sherman        Anderson along with a host of other relatives and friends.
