Mr. Sidney "Joe" Jacobs was born November 26, 1961 to the parentage of Mose and Florine Jacobs in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended Dallas Independent School District and graduated from L.G. Pinkston in 1980.

Sidney was a hard working man. He drove tow trucks for many years to provide for his wife and children. Sidney   professed a love for Christ at an early age and was faithful member of House of Prayer Church.

He was a die hard Denver Broncos fan and loved watching In the Heat of the Night.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mose and Florine   Jacobs, sister Jeanita Moore and brother Samuel Brown.

Sidney leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 40 years   Dianne Bethany–Jacobs; (2) daughters: Shunquala Bethany and Diquita Bethany; (2) sons: Desmond Bethany and Christopher Bethany; (8) grandchildren:  Qua;Ron Bethany, Isaiah Bethany, Nariya Bethany, Christian Bethany, Desmond Bethany Jr., Tyree Bethany, Xavier Williams and Christopher Bethany Jr.; (1) great grandchild Kyler; (2) sisters: Marilyn Barnes and Kathrina Jacobs; (1) brother Samson Jacobs; (3) nephews:   Delvin Lively, Byron Lively and Leland Lively; (1) niece Danielle Moore and a host of other relatives and friends.
