Shirley Lewis was born October 28,1950 to the parentage of Roba & Gladis Lewis in Dallas, TX. She attended and received her formal education from DISD school district.

Anyone who knew Shirley knew she enjoyed going to work at Goodwill Industries. She loved listening to music and dancing. She adored her children, grandchildren and loved family. She took us all in with her heart full of love. She was a gift from God to be viewed each day as a precious gift, to be treasured, cherished, and celebrated. Shirley touched all of our lives and will continue to live in our memories and thoughts. It is hard to let her go, but we trust in God's grace for Shirley and family, as we go into the future.

Those with their arms out to receive her were her parents, her son Bryan Lewis, daughter, Derita Lewis, grandson Clifford Lewis ,two sisters Darlean Hancock and Wanda Lewis, one brother Robie Lewis.

Shirley leaves behind to cherish her memories: Four grandchildren: Laretha Lewis, Vennicia & Bryanna Tubbs & Devon Lewis. Seven great grandchildren: Teryn, De'ayden, De'ayjah, De'aydrianna, De'ayvah, De'ayanna and Kali. Three sisters Betty Reed(Jammie), Judy Harmon, Belinda Wiley and a host of nieces & nephews, cousins & other dear relatives and special friends.
