Sheila Ann Mitchell was was born on January 27, 1961 to the late Ethelene Mitchell and Elisha Mitchell in Dallas, Texas. She helped many with babysitting children. She was known as Mama Shelia to many.

On June 17, 2026, Shelia answered the Master’s call and entered into Eternal Rest at her home.

Sheila will be remembered for her kindness she shared with others in raising their children and her devotion she shared with others. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by parents: Ethelene & Elisha Mitchell , (2) brothers: Otis Mitchell & John Mitchell, (2) sisters: Glenda Armstead & Carolyn Carter.

Shelia leaves behind to cherish her memories to her life long partner McArthur Cook; (1) brother Johnny Mitchell (Crystal) along with a host of other family and dear friends who will miss her dearly.
