Obituary

Sabrina Hooker was born on October 3, 1967, to Johnnie and Betty Hooker in Dallas, Texas. From her earliest days, Sabrina brought joy, laughter, and light into every room she entered. Her smile was wide, her eyes tight with laughter, and her presence impossible to ignore. She made friends everywhere she went and left an impression on every heart she touched.

Sabrina had a gift—an effortless ability to comfort others, to make even the hardest day lighter. She gave with open hands and an even bigger heart. If you were hurting, Sabrina showed up. If she had it, she gave it. And sometimes, she gave even when she didn't.

She was unintentionally hilarious, the kind of funny that sneaks up on you and stays in your memory long after the moment passes. Her laughter was infectious, and her joy was generous.

But perhaps the most constant voice in her life was that of her Aunt Carolyn Patterson. her favorite aunt. Sabrina and Aunt Carolyn shared an unbreakable bond. She called her four to five times a day just to talk about every detail of her day, to share her highs and lows, to solve the world's problems, or sometimes just to hear her voice. Their connection was a testament to the beauty of deep family love.

Sabrina was the epitome of a Daddy's Girl. She adored her father, Johnnie Hooker, and his passing left a deep void in her life. Today, while we don't pretend to know what lies beyond this world, we do know she carried his memory with her every day and is now at peace with him.

She leaves behind a host of loved ones who will cherish her memory daughter Kendra Hooker; (4) grandchildren: Dekalyn Hooker, Jaylon Hooker, Jakalyn Jones and Jordan Hooker; her mother Betty Jean Hooker; (2) brothers: Kenneth Hooker and Reginald Hooker; (1) sister Cassandra Boone along with a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Sabrina's legacy is one of laughter, love, and loyalty. May we carry her light with us always.
