Ronald discovered his love for the outdoors at an early age, and one of his greatest joys was found on the water with a fishing rod in his hand. He spent countless hours on the lake in the company of his brothers, son, grandsons, nephews, and friends. He took the girls too, but they tended to be more of a distraction, and ate all the food. In his later years, he shifted his focus to hunting much to Fred's frustration and Ann's amusement.
To know Ron, was to laugh! His storytelling was larger than life, and he never met a crowd he wasn't willing to entertain. From picking up hay for the cows with Peter, to bruising Hay-Lords kidneys on the boat. His stories are legendary.
