Roberta Smith, age 74 transitioned on Sunday, July 14, 2024. She was born on May 2, 1950 in Dallas, TX to O.C. & Ora Lee Evans. She married Willie James Smith on December 19, 1975. They had 3 children Jason, Jonathan, and Joye. She graduated from Madison High School and went on to graduate from Prairie View A&M majoring in Business and Education.

Over the years she was an amazing Woman of Faith, A First Lady of Trinity Heights Community Church for over 30 years, a Mother Figure to many, the manager of gospel recording group JaRa' & The Lineage for over 20 years, and a faithful worker of the Potter's House of Dallas for over 15 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents O.C. and & Ora Lee Evans and her sister Stella Jarvis-Rosales.

Roberta leaves behind her loving husband of 48 years Willie Smith; (3) children: Jason Smith, Jonathan Smith (Lanita) and Joye Smith; (3) grandchildren: Elijah, Ethan and Evan; (2) siblings: Mary Crockett and James Evans along with a host of other family and friends.
