Obituary

Robert Quincy Earl Moore (affectionately known as Quincy or "Q"), a loving father, son, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the age of 49 surrounded by his loved ones.

Quincy was born on October 6, 1976, in Dallas, Texas, to Robert Earl Green and Bobra Annette Moore-Williams. In May 1995, he graduated from Justin F. Kimball High School in the Dallas Independent School District, where he played football from his freshman year through his senior year as a left tackle. During his senior year, he earned Second-Team All-District honors.

Quincy attended Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. He later graduated from Trinity Valley Community College in the spring of 1997 and continued his studies at East Texas State University (now East Texas A&M University), where he pledged Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., in the summer of 1998.

At the time of his passing, Quincy was employed by the City of Dallas as an Inspector III – Zoning with the DSD Enforcement Team. He was known for his quiet strength, loyalty, and unwavering love for his daughters. He had a warm smile, a generous heart, and a deep devotion to family. Family meant everything to Quincy, and he took great pride in being a father, son, brother, and loving uncle. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Quincy was preceded in death by his father, Robert Earl Green; his maternal grandmother, Eska Elzenia Moore; his paternal grandmother, Willie Mae Green; and his beloved golden retriever, Avery.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Bobra Annette Moore-Williams; his daughters, Naudia Annette Moore and Qeya Latrice Moore; his sisters, Lateachia Devon Moore and Shannon Annette Green (Scott); his brothers, Kerry Charles Moore (Nikki), Robert Green, and Christopher Green; his nieces, Brittany Santrice Moore and Kennedy Shanae Moore; his only nephew, Trent Robert Jefferson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
