She peacefully entered into eternal rest on Aug 30, 2021. Rita leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Lavon Melson; her brothers: Kevin Sikes and Darryl Sikes; her kids: Chevella Reynolds and Chyna Howard; her grandchildren; Keyshawn Hardin,  Marissa McDonald, Ramon McDonald (Junior) and her newest grandchild Terisa Trevino; Rita has a favorite uncle that she partied with often: Raymond Sikes and most of all her favorite aunts Lisa (Diane) Sikes and the late Linda Sikes Alexander. She also leaves a host of other uncles, cousins and close friends
