Rickie O'Neal Hamilton was born February 12, 1959 to the parents of Annie and Melvin Langford. He attended H. Grady Spruce High School. He received his Associates Degree in Nursing at Prairie View A&M University.

He worked various jobs in the healthcare field taking care of the elderly.

His mother Annie Marie Langford and father Melvin Lancaster Langford preceded him in death.

Rickie leaves to cherish his memories (1) son Rodrick (Shanta) Ross; (7) grandchildren: Quinton Ross, Sharodd Ross,    Sha'riyah Ross, Kyng Ross, Dayja Cox, Ciana Cox and Christyana Cox; (1) sister Mylissa (Anthony) Williams; (2) brothers: Bishop Tyrone (Laura) Langford and Dwight (Lisa) Hamilton Sr.; (5) nieces: Genesia Norah, Tyesha Lanford, Brittany Hamilton, Jasmine Burns and Tiffany Burns; (1) nephew Dwight Hamilton Jr., (1) great niece Brooklyn Harless; (1) great nephew Jayden James and a host of other family and friends.
