To cherish his love and life he leaves his beloved wife of 49 years, Elma Jean Sanders of Dallas, TX; two daughters: Latonia Dismuke of Dallas, TX and Shiniquia (Anthony) McCowin of Lancaster, TX; one son:  Raymond II (Capucine) of Lancaster, TX;  seven grandchildren:  Sierra Givens, Stephen Bailey, Brandon Bailey, Raymond Sanders III, Anthony McCowin Jr., Jecorick Jones, and Tanaiya Sanders (his Rosie); one Great-Granddaughter: Payton Duncan (His Sweetie), two sisters: Mary and Rachel Sanders of Mesquite, TX; two brothers: Goppy Sanders, Jr and Danny Sanders of Dallas, TX; lifetime friend/brother: Percy Bryant and host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Johnnie Sanders, two brothers, Troy and Sylvester Sanders, Father/Mother-in-Law, Elmer, Sr. & Sarah Dismuke, two brother- in-laws, E.Ray Dismuke, Elmer Dismuke, Jr., and sister- in- law, Annie Dismuke.
