Raymond Sampson Jr. was born on November 12, 1952 to the parents of Raymond Sr. and Veatrice Sampson in    Monroe, LA. He served 2 terms in the Navy. He retired from the City of Dallas in the Sanitation Dept. were he worked for over 20 years.

Raymond was a true man of God and loved to preach and teach God's Holy word. He was an upright man who walked in the faith and spirit throughout his life. With God being the head of his life he also loved his family. He would always encourage the younger generation and tell them the way of life. Outside of all his wisdom he loved watching basketball.

He is preceded in death by his parents and (2) sisters: Rosie Lee Anderson and Lillian Marie Chatman.

Raymond leaves to cherish his memories (3) children:   Raymond Sampson III, Jaylon Sampson  and Taraji Sampson; (5) sisters: Lend Nora, Barbara, Beatrice, Patricia and Linda Kay; (1) brother Terry Sampson along with a host of other relatives and friends.
