Perry Lynn Bussey of Dallas, Texas, passed away July 6, 2024 at the age of 66.

Perry was born November 2, 1957 to M.C. Bussey and Lurlene (Walker) Bussey and was the 3rd born son. He attended Dallas schools and graduated from the L.G. Pinkston High School in 1976.

He had a love for repairing automobiles and was known as the neighborhood mechanic. His employment history includes: an Alignment Technician at Longhorn Alignment, a general laborer at Pacesetters, soil sorter at Baylor Health and an Auto Service Technician at F&W Auto Center. He was a caregiver for his father, and is remembered by his laugh and smile.

John 3:14-17, Romans 8:37-39 and Colossians 1:23 were some of his favorite scriptures.

Perry was a member of New Waverly Baptist Church in West Dallas, Texas, joined under Rev. R.T. Conley. Perry also regularly attended Mercy House Ministries of Dallas, Texas, Pastor Kevin Thompson.

He is preceded in death by his parents: M.C. Bussey & Lurlene Bussey and three sisters: Mildred, JoAnne and Virginia.

Perry is survived by (2) brothers: Mitchell Bussey (Marlette) of Spring Valley, California and Kenneth Bussey (Charlene) of Dallas, Texas; (7) nieces & nephews: Carlos, Mindy, Mitchell, Carlos, Laytasha, Dedrick and Kennetria along with other relatives and friends.
