Patsy Smith was born on April 8, 1948 to Barbara Jean Calloway and Lawrence Herron in Dallas, Texas. She attended H.S. Thompson Elementary and graduated from Lincoln High School.

She was a caregiver for many years until she retired. Alongside of being a caregiver she was an outstanding mother and grandmother. She loved her family and her family loved her. Spending time with her family was one of her hobbies but she also loved cooking.

Patsy is preceded in death by her parents: Barbara Calloway and Lawrence Herron, her husband Gary Smith, 2 children: Arthur Smith and Dennis Wayne Smith, 5 siblings: Jacquelin Mayfield, Vivian Calloway, Dewight Jackson, Gary Jackson and Lawrence Herron Jr.

Loved ones she leaves behind to cherish her memories (4) children: Kenneth Hardnet (Tanya), Jerry Smith (Kay), Rhonda Clarkson (Rohan) and Carla Smith; (1) special grandson Nicholas Plumphry; (1) special brother Danny Ray along with a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
