Patsy Jean Johnson was born on May 16, 1957, to the parentage of Eddie Helen Johnson at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.

She graduated from Skyline High School in Dallas, Texas. She was employed by Republic Taxi and American Engines of Dallas until her health declined.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, ShaTaurean Latrice Johnson ("Pooh"); her parents, Nathaniel and  Eddie Helen Leftridge; her brother, Marvin Nathaniel Leftridge ("Lefty"); her sister, Winnie Rue Johnson; her brothers, Marvin Darrell Johnson and Robert Eric Johnson; and her sister, Ethenia Frena Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children: Tabitha, Timothy, and Christopher Johnson; her two grandsons, Brandon and Tyrese Johnson; her sisters, Cassandra Phillips (David), Minnie Leftridge, and Barbara Carter; and her extended "love-made" family of patients, nurses, caregivers, and staff at Towngate Dialysis Center.

She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors who will forever cherish her memory.
