Newman Raymon Phillips was born on February 16, 1980 in Dallas, Texas to the parents of Newman & Sandra Washington. He graduated with the class of 1997 at Skyline High School. He accepted Christ at an early age joining Wayside Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of A.J. Jackson, where he also was a choir member.

He is preceded in death by his mother Sandra Phillips, grandparents: Willie Phillips  Luzell Washington and Charles Washington Sr., aunt Sharon Phillips and uncle Demond Washington.

Raymon leaves to cherish his memories to his daughter Shaterrika Thomas; (2) sons: De'modric Phillips and Derrick Phillips; his father Newman Washington (Debra); grandmother Alicina Phillips; brother Christopher Phillips; (2) sisters: Krystal Williams and Yolanda Riqsby; (3) aunts: Annette Thomas, Karen Powell (William), Stephanie Kemp (Joffe); (3) uncles: Charles Washington Jr. (Michelle), Willie Phillips and Micheal Phillips along with a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
