On September 5, 1953, Nancy Marie Flake was born to the late James D. Flake and Dorothy Jackson in Marshall, Texas.

Nancy attended Forney Public Schools and graduated from Forney High School class of 1972. Nancy attended Henderson County Junior College where she became a licensed vocational nurse. Nancy attended College at El Centro College where she obtained her registered Nursing Degree. She worked as a registered nurse until retiring in 2019.

In 1973 Nancy married Harry Walter Browder Sr. and they welcome 2 sons. She had a special love and dedication to her family. She also had a passion for cooking.

She is preceded in death by husband Harry Walter Browder Sr.; parents: James D. Flake & Dorothy Jackson; brothers: Joe Daniels, Pete Flake, Andrew Flake; sisters: Lela Montgomery, Ivernell Sparks and Effie Flake.

Nancy leaves to mourn two sons: Harry Walter Browder and Stephen Jones Browder both of Dallas, Texas; 3 grandchildren: Nylan Malek Browder, Guy Brown, Jeremiah Nicholas Browder; siblings: Willie Pearl Flake-Tucker, Charles Ray Nelson, Arthur Wayne Nelson, Elizabeth Marshall and Melba Jackson; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and devoted family and friends.
