Johnson
Dec 18, 1936 — Feb 3, 2026
Mose Johnson was born on December 18, 1936 in Natchez, Mississippi to the late Simon Johnson and Clemie Ethel Johnson. He attended Natchez High School in Natchez, Mississippi. When he was 18 years of age, Mose would make Dallas his home. He began working at Dresser Oil Tools (Halliburton) shortly after relocating and retired in 1999.
On February 14, 1967, Mose married Christine Johnson. This union would make Mose the father of twins. In 1975, he met and soon married Eddie Mae Westbrook Johnson and to this union a child was added, making him the father of three and stepfather of seven additional children. Mose became a member of 4 His Glory Evangelistic Outreach Ministries in May of 2019. He accepted Christ and was later baptized on November 23, 2020.
Those close to Mose would tell you that he had a kind heart, was a sweet and caring spirit, and had a smile and laugh that could lighten any dark room. He had a tremendous love for music and was often seen with a scratch off ticket and Dr. Pepper close by.
