Mixon Harcourt Anderson (Micky) was born on March 3, 1946 in  Dallas, TX. He had a great amount of work  experience from carpentry,  mechanics, and truck driving. He was a dedicated skilled laborer in the Dallas and Houston area for multiple decades until his retirement in the early 2000s. He attended Booker T. Washington High School in Dallas, TX.

Micky was a selfless son, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend who cherished quality time with his loved ones above all else. He was one of the original die-hard fans of the Dallas Cowboys,  Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, and Dallas Stars. His nurturing spirit and unwavering support were a testament to his deep commitment to family values, and he leaves behind cherished memories that will forever live in our hearts.

Micky is survived by his sons Adrian Robicheaux, Billy Paul, and Antonio Anderson (Michelle), siblings Ronnie Hughes, Loretta Louise Browning (Hughes), Olelia Hillard (Hughes), Donald Smith, Cathy (Anthony) Jones, sister-in-laws Teresa Ward, Linda Robinson, brother-in-law Randall Alexander, and a host of loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Micky was preceded in death by his parents, Solomon Hughes and Helen Anderson, his brother Michael Flores, brother-in-law Gary Alexander and his  ex-wife Doloras Anderson.

On Sunday, February 16, 2025, our beloved Micky transitioned to his eternal home leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion to his family, friends, and faith.
