Mrs. Minnie Lee Claiborne was born January 16, 1948 in Rusk, Texas to the late John T. and Annie Lee Blanton. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother,               great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She professed her faith in Jesus Christ at an early age by   uniting with the Church of Christ of Seagoville, Texas. She married Curtis Claiborne and to this union four children were born.

Mrs. Claiborne is preceded in death by her son Curtis Claiborne Jr., her two brothers: Arthur Ray Harris and Earnest Ray Blanton, and one sister, Hattie Lee Blanton.

She leaves to mourn; a loving husband Curtis Claiborne Sr.; two sons: Gary Claiborne (Kerlin) of Cypress Texas and Derrick Claiborne of Dallas Texas; one daughter     Connie Claiborne of Dallas, Texas; two brothers: Robert Earl Blanton of Balch Springs, Texas and John Wayne Blanton of Seagoville, Texas; two sisters: Margie Blanton of Dallas, Texas and  Debra (Donald) Fontenot of Wylie Texas along with a host of grandchildren,                       great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and so many other relatives and friends.
