Mildred Garrett-Hall was born on October 14, 1942 to the parent of Malinda Garrett in Dallas, Texas. She attended Dallas Independent School District.

She retied from The Way Back House Organization. She was also a member of Tel-Star Baptist Church then she later joined Allen Chapel Baptist Church.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Charles Ray Hall, her mother Malinda Garrett, grandmother Mary F. Garrett and her brother Dickey W. Garrett.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories (1) daughter Charlotte A. Garrett; (4) grandchildren: Sharequa T. Garrett, Anthony M. Garrett Sr., Rikesha T. Garrett and Ishia R. Garrett (John); (15) great grandchildren: Keyvien, Shakira, Amyriah, Latoya, Aniyah, Anthony Jr., Makayla, Darwin Jr., Ze'Meshia, Jazzmine, Alyricah, Kendall, Eygene, Ja'Norieya and Joessiah; (2) great-great grandchildren: Kacier Dixon and Kai Jamier Dixon; (5) siblings: Melvin Garrett (Grace), Patricia McCallister (Billie), Gail Washington (Nate), Paula Garrett and Paul Garrett along with a host of other relatives and friends.
