Michael W. Thompson Sr. was born December 20, 1955 in Ft. Worth, TX to the parents of Goldie Faye White and William Adams. He attended North Grand Prairie High School.

He dedicated his life to Christ at an early age. He was a faithful member of Peoples Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor S. M. Wright II and co-pastor Calvin Wright. He was active on the Usher Board and the Fellowship Hall.

On May 12, 1979 he was united in holy matrimony to Darnita Aldridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents Goldie Faye White & William Adams, his siblings: Karen White-Sheare & Darryl Lynn White and his aunt Lula Mae Espy.

Michael leaves to cherish his memories his wife Dornita Thompson, (3) daughters: Miknita Thompson, Felisha Thompson and Jessica Williams; (1) son Michael Thompson Jr.; (3) sisters: Betty White, Martha White and Debra Johnson; (1) brother Freddy White; (8) grandchildren; (2) great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
