Obituary

Mashell Nicole Davis born to Cynthia and James Davis on March 4th, 1992. What a bundle of joy and indeed "BIG" character/personality inside! She was given the nickname of "Muppet baby. However, she identified herself early on 'As THE MASHELL. She attended all Duncanville schools. Acton Elementary. Reed middle school, Duncanville Ninth Grade School and graduated from Duncanville High Class of 2010. Close friends called her "BIG GURL". She attended Mountain View College.

As a young adult she truly embraced family. Next nickname: BIG BABY". Given by the longtime brother. She was the life of party. Where Shelly BLOOD came about from "The WOODS.". Thereafter she entered the workforce. Here's where "$hell Dolla" comes from. She was about her $. Work families: State Farm, Bank of America, Amazon, GM, Target and WELLSFARGO. She was such a hard worker and well known for getting the job done. Very comical and charismatic!! This is where folks gave her the nickname "My Girl".

Her sweet spirit and gentle loving heart, comes about next nickname SHELLY BABY. That baby face and beautiful infectious SMILE everyone continues to rave about her! Shelly Pooh loved the kids. She had many children she helped raise and cared for. The God parent, step mom, auntie and sista roles she stood on business behind the children. They all love her so much and will truly miss her.

She was pure sunshine. She had a smile that could brighten the darkest day and a laugh that filled every room. She was the life of every party and spark in every gathering. Wherever she went, she brought warmth, energy, and a way of making everyone feel welcome, included, and deeply loved.

With her being the heart of the family, the one who brought us together, lifted our spirits, and reminded us to embrace life with joy. Her presence was a blessing beyond words; her absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled. Her light will continue to shine in every laugh, every memory, and every heart she touched.

Mashell was an animal lover too. Loved music naturally. She enjoyed life, each and everyday. Loved people genuinely. Her favorite color is Green. Although her time with us was far too short, the joy, the laughter, and the light she brought into our lives will remain with us forever.

She joins in eternal peace her parents and her precious grandmother, Gloria whom passed on 3/7/26. Called her "SHELLY". To the family, they are reunited in Heaven.

Mashell leaves behind six sisters: Malika, Matina, Basheba, Monique, Mayou & Kiki; best friends: Tara (Do Right), Mika, Brian, GG, Leon, Reba, Duck, Brodrick, Meechie, Twana and Tanisha; gone to soon besties: Martinez and Marquica; along with a host of aunts, uncles, many cousins, co-workers and Lifetime friends.  We will all miss you Shelly!
