Mary Alice Garrett fondly known as "Mary", passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, leaving behind a cherished legacy that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her. She was born on December 26, 1958 to the parentage of the late Johnny and Margaret Rodgers.

Mary was raised in Seagoville, Texas in the community of Sand Branch. She attended Seagoville High school.

She is also preceded in death by (3) sisters: Shirley Hinton, Dorothy Jean Hill and Teresa Caro, (2) brothers: Willie Earl Hill and David Rodgers.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her surviving family daughter Alice Davis; (5) grandchildren: Nevaeh Levy, Devonta Levy, Erianna Levy, Andre Levy and Devonta Levy Jr.; special friend Jonathan Triplett; (2) siblings: John Rodgers (Mary) and Teddy Rodgers; a special group of nieces: Debra Hill, Dobbie Hill-King, Cheryl Hill, Rachel Stewart and Doris Scarber along with a host of other relatives and friends that will share her memory. Their precious bonds are a reflection of the incredible love Mary shared with those closest to her.
