Mae Hollis King was born on January 11, 1951 to the union of Hollis & Frances King in Longview, Texas. She received her formal education in Crandall Independent School District.

She worked as a CNA at Mesquite Nursing Home for a long period of time. Although, Mae didn't have any children she enjoyed lending a hand in raising her nieces and nephews. She was a mom to all the neighborhood children. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved the Dallas Cowboys but she really enjoyed playing cards, fishing and going to the casino.

Loved ones she join in eternal life includes her parents: Hollis & Frances King, (4) brothers: Willie Christian, Larry King, Mack King and Ricky King along with (1) sister Virginia Fagan.

Mae leaves behind to cherish her precious memories (4) sisters: Peggy Bean, Odessa Favorite (Virgil) both of Dallas, TX, Mary Hart of Crandall, TX and Wanda Session of     Canton, TX; (1) brother John Hollis King of Dallas, TX along with a host of other relatives and friends.
