Lester Berry Williams, 73, passed away on January 5, 2023 at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He was the husband of Anita K. Williams. They shared 41 years of marriage together. Born in Odessa, Texas, he was the son of Berry Chester Williams and Jamesetta Draper Williams. He graduated from Ector High School and from Wayland Baptist College with an Bachelor in visual arts.  He worked at the Odessa House Authority, A-1 Mobile Homes and as a mortgage processor for Bank of America for many years. He served our country in the Air Force. He enjoyed running, playing basketball, was a track star in his early years and of course spending time with his lovely wife. His siblings would say Lester is extremely smart and mentored them along their career paths.

He is survived by his spouse, Anita K. Williams, and predeceased by his parents Berry and Jamesetta Williams.  Surviving in addition to his wife were his three sisters Shirley Rose Williams, Odessa, TX; Rosalee Haynes of Alamogordo, NM; Surella (Diane) Canada and her husband Michael of Rosharon, TX; six nieces and nephews, LaVonda, Tamika, Crystal, Catisha, George, Jeremy, Jessica and many great nieces and great nephews.  Lester will be missed by his close friends, Donald Alford, BJ Dancer (known as his brother), and Charles Lewis (deceased)
