Lester LaTour  was born to Mr. and Mrs. Celestine LaTour on August 14th,1957 in Lake Charles, LA. He was the baby of three children. He was raised in Lake Charles, LA and attended Thomas S. Cooley  elementary. As an adult he was a great caregiver where he met his wife Janice McCarver where they moved to Houston and was married for 34 years. Lester enjoyed driving trucks and his favorite companion dogs. In 2020 he rededicated his life back to Christ.

He is proceeded in death by both parents Celestine LaTour and Louise LaTour as well his sister Catherine Jones.

Lester is survived his son: Anthony Friday, Quintessa Friday; a special son/nephew Anthony Jones (Elconette); Special friend Janice McCarver, brother Edward LaTour and a host of other relatives and friends.
