Lenora
Childress
Sep 1, 1962 — Sep 4, 2024
Lenora Deming Childress, a cherished individual known for her kind, loving, and humorous personality, left us on September 4, 2024. Lenora who was affectionally known by "NeNe" lived a life filled with laughter, good times, and a lot of jokes. Her untimely departure leaves an unfillable void in lives of so many.
Lenora was born on September 1, 1962, to the parentage of Holland Sr. and Febline Deming. She graduated from L.G. Pinkston high School in 1980 and later attended Texas Women University on an academic scholarship.
As a caregiver, Lenora devoted her life to taking care of family, friends and patients until her health begin to fail her. Lenora was a member of Grace Celebration Fellowship where she served until God called her home. "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and portion forever." Psalms 73:26
Lenora is now reunited with her parents, Holland Sr. and Febline Deming; her siblings: Bobby Earl Deming, John Earl Deming, Frederick Deming, Holland Deming, Jr., Dwaine Deming, Shirley Ruth Deming, and Patricia Palmer.
Lenora leaves to cherish her wonderful memories: two children; son, Frederick Deming and daughter Frenisha Seay (Fred); two sisters, Shirley Clark and Gwenda Brown (Robert); and one brother, Donald Ray Deming. She will be forever loved and treasured in the hearts of her loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and host of extended family and friends.
