Obituary

Lela Faye Thomas Williams, affectionately known to all as Tina, was born to the parentage of Charles Walker "Jack" Thomas and Lucy Lee Winfield Thomas on December 27, 1946, in Seagoville, Texas.  Tina accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. B.S. Holland of the Bethel Church of God in Christ.  She later united with the Union Chapel Baptist Church under the pastoral guidance of Rev. Charles Jackson and continued under the leadership of the current ministerial guidance of Rev. Bill Jackson.  Tina remained a faithful member of Union Chapel Baptist Church until the Lord called her home.

She graduated from G. W. Carver High School in 1964 and later attended Dallas Metropolitan College where she received a certification in Computer Data Operations and Fashion Construction and Design.  Tina retired from Mobil after a company merger and rather than sit idle, she accepted an offer of employment, with the former Seagoville State Bank as a Teller. Tina loved and excelled in in the sport of softball where she honed her skills under the great Coach Louis McNeal. During the summer months you catch "Fast Black" rounding 3rd base into home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Billy Joe "Mickey" Thomas, Charles Walker "Sonny Boy" Thomas and two sisters Dollie Ruth Thomas Branch and Betty Jean Thomas Elliott and niece Sharon Elaine Thomas Bacon.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter Terry Lynn Bradley and her beloved son-in-love Dan Stevie Bradley of Desoto, Texas, granddaughter Erikka Natreece Richmond and her fiancée Jarvis Anderson of Garland, Texas, sister-in-law Lillie Fay Thomas of Dallas, Texas, brother-in-law Robert Earl Branch of Seagoville, six nephews, seven nieces 21 great nieces and nephew.

Tina also shared a special relationship bond with niece Karyn Branch of Seagoville and nephew Michael Ray Thomas of Mesquite, Texas.  Her very close circle of Besties for Life included Joyce Richmond, Gloria Branch, Candace Mackey, Patricia Besant, Paula Cobb, First Lady Charlotte Jackson and her forever sister Dorothy Brooks.  Tina  will be remembered with love and adoration by a host of cousins, and family friends.
