Larry J. Walton was born on October 27, 1954, in Hawkins, Texas to the parentage of Clemon and Ella Mae Walton. Larry was  number two of five children.

Larry received Christ and attended church at The Kingdom Harvest Ministries C.O.G.I.C in Dallas, Texas.

He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially when it was to have those old-time country meals with pig's feet, chitterlings, and hog maws. He loved watching sports. He cherished his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Clemon Walton and brother Morris Walton.

Larry leaves to cherish his memories, his son "Lil" Larry Walton of Dallas, TX; stepdaughter Sharon (Red) Jones of Dallas, TX; granddaughter Kennedie Jones; great granddaughter Na'Kyiah Jones; mother Ella Mae Walton of Mesquite, TX; (2) sisters: Rose (Roy) Jones of Mesquite, TX and Teresa (D'Landro) Payne of Glen Heights, TX; (1) brother Jerry Walton of Dallas, TX along with a host of other relatives and friends.
