Mr. Larry Dwayne Thomas was born to the parentage of Mr. Searcy Thomas and Ms. Etta Mae Granville on March 24, 1960 in Waxahachie, Texas.

He and his mother moved to California when he was just 2 years old. While there he received his  formal education in the Los Angeles Unified School District.

He accepted Christ at an early age and was a God  fearing man.

In 1986 he moved to Ferris, Texas and also met and spent many years with a special friend Ledena Lynn.

Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was always happy and full of conversation and laughter. He loved to play dominoes, listen to music and watch sports. He was a welcoming individual and always tried to make     people feel like family when around him.

He will truly be missed.

Larry leaves to cherish his memories one aunt Versia Mae Thomas of Fort Worth, TX; one daughter Talisa Lynn; two grandsons: Roy Jr. and LeAnthony; two sisters: Sylvia Lofton (Donald) and Debra Holbert (Robert); one brother James Gown and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
