Mr. Larry Minor was born on November 23, 1955, to the loving parents of Robert T. Minor and Olean Littlejohn. He was educated in the Paris Independent School District and proudly graduated from Paris High School with the Class of 1974.

Larry answered the call to serve his country as a member of the United States Navy. After his military service, he continued his career and was employed by Babcock & Wilcox and Turner Pipe Industries.

On March 25, 1995, Larry was united in marriage to the love of his life, Shelia Minor. Their journey together was marked by love, devotion, companionship, and cherished memories. Shelia remained his devoted wife and was a constant source of love and support throughout their years together.

Larry was a devoted and faithful member of Paris New Generation Baptist Church where he was ordained and served as a deacon in the deacon's ministry.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Robert T. Minor; his brother, Billy Minor; and his sister, Miasha Alexander.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 42 years, Shelia Minor; his sisters, Thelma (Kenneth) Biglow of Wisconsin and Linda Fuller of Paris, Texas; his brother, Robert (Shirley) Minor, Jr.; along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Larry’s life was a testament to service, love, family, and commitment. Though his earthly journey has come to an end, the memories he created and the lives he touched will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will never be forgotten.

May he rest peacefully, knowing that he was loved, respected, and cherished by many.
