Laquetha Renee Lewis was born on January 27, 1973 in Liberty, TX to the parents of Brenda Whittaker and Charles Lewis Sr. "Verble" as she was affectionately known as, later moved to Terrell, TX with her parents and siblings. She attended and graduated from Terrell High School. She later moved to Dallas, TX furthering her    education at Eastfield College.

Verble worked in numerus positions with many job titles throughout the Dallas metro area, leaving her favorable lasting impression with her employer (s) and co-workers with her radiant smile and comedic behavior, she would light up a room as she was the life of the party. She was a member of The Temple of God Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Charles Lewis.

A major highlight in her life was the birth of her daughter, son and grandchildren. Laquetha left her earthly home on September 20, 2023 at the age of 50. Her departure has left a major void in the hearts of her family and friends.

Verbie leaves to cherish her memories (2) children: Diana Chambers and Derrick Chambers; (3) grandchildren: R.J., Connor and Devyn; her mother Brenda Whittaker; her     father Charles Lewis Sr.; brother Pastor Charles Lewis; sister Devera Hickmon along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends that will miss her dearly.
