Kenneth Royce ("Sappy") Lane passed away on July 28, 2025, at his home in Paris, Texas. He was 68 years old.

Kenneth graduated from Paris High School. After a long, dedicated, and rewarding career at Paris Regional Health (formerly McQuistion Hospital) Kenneth decided to hang up his hat and retire.

Kenneth loved family, and he leaves a legacy of love and cherished memories. He had a passion for music and loved watching western movies with friends.

Parents—James and Bessie Lane; Sisters—Joyce Wallace, Velena Thomas, Sandra Cooper, and Sheila Thomas; Brothers—Harold Lane, David Lane, and Orson Lane.

Wife—Barbara Diane Hayden) Lane; Son—Quincy Hayden; Brother--Robert Lane (Ruby); Sisters—Audrey Lakes, Jacquelyn Mason, Beverly Lane, Janice Wortham (Wayne), and Vesta Lane; Brother-in-law—LV Wallace, Sister-in-law---Zolenar Lane, a  host of nieces and nephews, 2 grandsons, 4 granddaughters, 8 great-grandchildren, and many cousins and special friends.
