Kenneth
Cook
Apr 22, 1966 — Feb 15, 2026
Kenneth Ray Cook was born on April 22, 1966, in Houston, Texas to Jim Johnson and Geraldine Cook. Shortly thereafter, he made Dallas his home, where he built a life centered on dedication to his family, meaningful work, and lasting relationships. At an early age, Kenneth accepted Christ and began his spiritual journey. Though his life was marked by hardships and challenges, he continued to lean on his faith as a source of strength and guidance. Kenneth received his education from Dallas Independent School District. After his time in school, he spent many years working in maintenance and hospitality services, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dependable nature.
Kenneth embraced life with enthusiasm. He enjoyed playing dominoes, listening to music, taking pictures, spending time with family, and dressing sharp! He was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and never missed an opportunity to cheer for his favorite team. He had a gift for humor and conversation, and his presence often filled a room with a good time.
He leaves to cherish him memories his girls Kenecia (Demarcus) McFarland, Myesha Cook, and Miracle Cook; his brother, LaJuan Cook; his nieces, La'Kendrea (Eric) Richardson, Sha'kena Cook, and Jessica Cook; his nephews, A'rtaveious (Octavia) Cook and Christopher Cook. He is also remembered by a host of extended family members and friends.
Kenneth has entered his peaceful rest to join his mother, Geraldine Cook; his sisters, Darlene Cook and Carolyn Cook; and his uncle, James Cook, and aunt, Jessie Cook.
Kenneth will be remembered for the light he brought into every room, the perseverance he showed through life's challenges, and the unwavering love he had for his family. The moments he shared, the laughter he gave, and the impact he made will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
