Joshua Newton was born in Nevada County,           Arkansas, on June 22, 1942,  to the late Cermiet and Roberta Newton.

Joshua was educated in the Nevada County,           Arkansas School System. He later relocated to     Arizona where he worked as an Irrigation Specialist.  He then moved to Dallas, Texas where he worked as a Modular Home Tech and a Security Officer.

Joshua was married to Ruby Lee. They enjoyed a wonderful union of love, fulfillment, and support for each other until her death. To this union six (6)    children were born: Fedale Newton (aka Remello    Solo), Joshua Jr. Newton (precedes him in death), Eleanor Jean Newton, Spencer Ray Newton, Alicia Rena Newton and Linda Kay Newton.

Later in life Joshua meet the love of his life,     Marilyn and they shared forty (40) wonderful years together. To this union three (3) children were reared, Michael Gladney (precedes him in death), Jerod Newton and Aja Newton.

Joshua's survivors include: Four (4) brothers; Three (3) sisters, Twenty-on (21) grandkids, a host of great- grandkids, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
