Jose Cruz Iraheta Amaya was born on May 11, 1968 in the city of Dolores, Cabanas, El Salvador to the parents of Maria Catalina Amaya and Jesus Iraheta.

He migrated to the United States in the late 1980's, where he met Reina Calles,  married in 1996 and to this union five children were born.

Jose leaves behind to cherish his memories (5) beloved children: Odali Iraheta, Marlo Iraheta, Kevin Iraheta, Amilton Iraheta and Jose Iraheta;  (3) grandchildren: Devanie Perez, Leon Moreno and Luna Moreno, all of whom he loved and adored,  along  with a host of other family and friends.
