Mr. John Lee McCall was born November 10, 1951 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late parents of Mr. Leroy McCall and Willie Taylor. He attended the Louisiana County School District and graduated from Bethune High School in 1971.

In 1980 he met and fell in ;love with Lovie T. Kizart and soon after moved to Dallas, TX. and  made a life together. They lived together for 35 years until her death in 2015.

John went to any church God led him to. After Lovie's sudden earthly departure John attended Goodwill Baptist Church every Sunday until his health failed.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life Lovie T. Kizart, sisters: Ida Allen, Thelma, Dorothy and brothers: Leroy Jr. and Earnest.

John departed this life on July 10, 2023.  He leaves to mourn his daughter Annie (Matthew) Ward; son: Johnny Kizart; grandchildren: Brittany (Tyrone) Williams, Abresha , Vlicia (Avriel) Kizart and Kyia; great grandchildren: Trinnity, Tyriyanna, Elijah, Tiana, Jerryia, Kevyn and Zyir; his sister: Claudia; nephew Terry; niece Michelle and a host of nieces, nephews, church family, other relatives and friends.
