Jannifer
Carter
Jun 11, 1955 — Dec 26, 2024
Pastor Jannifer Kay Carter, 69, of Smithville, Texas, passed away on December 26, 2024. She was born on June 11, 1955, to Vivian and Allen Jackson. Jannifer was a proud graduate of Pinkston High School (1973) and later earned a Doctor of Divinity (DD) from the Universal Life Church Monastery. As a Pastor, she devoted her life to serving others with love, faith, and compassion. She is preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Jackson, and her father, Allen Jackson.
She had a nurturing spirit and deep passion for life. Her passion extended to her beloved plants and four loyal dogs—Sapphire, Bentley, Levion, and Aston Martin—whom she cared for with great love and devotion. Whether in her garden, fishing on a lake, caring for her pets, or enjoying a lively song and dance, Jannifer brought warmth and energy to everything she did.
Jannifer leaves behind her beloved husband, Charlie Carter Jr., her three children - Aneatra Linthecum, Charlie Carter III, Nic'Kia Thomas, cherished grandchildren, extended family, and relatives. She also leaves behind a host of friends and associates.
In memory of Pastor Jannifer Kay Jackson, may her spirit live on in the hearts of those she touched.
