James Earl Price was born on August 14, 1945 to the parents of Louie Price & Ada Mae Hill-Price in Dallas, Texas. He attended Lincoln High School and received his Minister's degree at Jarvis Christian College.

He received his calling and became apart of the jail and prison ministry. He was a formal Sunday School teacher. He taught Bible class teenagers rock at CCC and was also the formal NAACP President of Paris, Texas. He also served in the US Marines. He loved playing games on his IPad and reading his Bible until his sight failed him.

Loved ones he joins in eternal life includes his parents: Louie & Ada Price, (2) sisters: Claudia and Jimmie, (1) son Mark Brown Sr., (1) great granddaughter Naryah and (1) great grandson Titus.

James leaves behind to cherish his memories to his devoted wife Janice Denise Price of Paris, TX; (8) children: Sheila (Bobby) Walker of Dallas, TX, Laura Price of Houston, TX, Dagmar Arbogast of Florida, James Price Jr., Roderick (Jennifer) Price, Bakarri Price, Akintunde Price, Jabari Arbogast all of Oregon; (2) step-daughters: Cassandra Edwards and Diedra Edwards both of Paris, TX; (1) bonus son Anthony (Daphne) Miles of Waco, TX; (37) grandchildren; (32) great grandchildren; one special friend Randy Miller along with a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
